Wood is Good — AGAMJOT MOTI

At the end of my second year Structures class, our professor had the class stand up to take an oath: that wood is good, and doing good means using wood. Two years later, I entered a school-wide sweater-design competition with an earlier iteration of the following designs. I didn’t win, but I kept with the idea. Below are prototypes of posters created to promote sustainability in construction through the use of mass timber systems. The repeated motif is arranged to form the cross section of a tree.
